Write a letter | Send an email | Leave a message | Complete the questionnaire | Deadline is Thurs. May 14th!
This page is dedicated to volunteer opportunities supporting public awareness around the proposed Silvertip Gondola development in Canmore. Whether you have 30 minutes or several hours, every conversation, flyer, lawn sign, social media share, and neighbour-to-neighbour connection helps inform the community before the provincial engagement deadline on May 14.
There may be volunteer opportunities beyond May 14th so please check back.
Our goal is simple:
Help residents understand the proposal, encourage informed participation, and ensure local voices are heard.
There are many ways to help:
Door knocking
Delivering information cards
Putting up lawn signs
Sharing facts online
Helping at events
Assisting with outreach and organization
You don’t need experience—just a respectful attitude and a willingness to help keep the community informed.
Thank you for being part of the effort.
Access map, guide and script below to help support the door-knocking campaign.
This map divides the Bow Valley into 31 zones for volunteer door-knocking. It helps coordinate outreach, avoid overlap, and ensure full community coverage on the proposed gondola. The zones are only suggestions and boundaries can be changed.
